The Colorado Rockies were no-hit for 6.2 innings and ended up getting blanked by the San Diego Padres by the score of 6-0.  You can’t win a ballgame with out two hits more then likely, and the Rockies just didn’t bring their bats to the game.

Todd Helton and Brad Hawpe were the only Rockies to record a hit in the game.  Talk about a terrible job at the plate lol.

Ubaldo Jimenez took the loss for the Rockies as he only lasted 4.2 innings and gave up six runs even though only two of them were earned runs.  Kip Wells and Ryan Speier finished up the game for Jimenez.

The Colorado Rockies beat the Atlanta Braves by one run once again.  On Tuesday night, the Rockies beat the Braves by the score of 4-3.  Once again it was Matt Holliday leading the way for the Rockies has he had two RBI’s.

After Holliday, Garret Atkins and Brad Hawpe had one RBI each.

Ubaldo Jimenez pitched six innings to pick up the win.  He allowed six hits and three earned runs.  I think he could have pitched better, but it was nice to see him pick up the victory.

Manny Corpas picked up his third save of the season by closing down the Braves in the 9th inning.
